Donna Karan is a New York fashion label founded in 1984 by designer Donna Karan and Stephan Weiss, introduced to the public through the 1985 Seven Easy Pieces capsule of interchangeable day-to-night essentials. It is known for draped silhouettes, bodysuits, cashmere and refined, versatile womenswear, and today covers ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes and the casual Donna Karan Weekend collection. G-III Apparel Group acquired the brand in 2016 and relaunched the main Donna Karan New York line in Spring 2024.
