Marc Jacobs is a New York fashion house founded in 1984 by designer Marc Jacobs, who remains its founder and creative director. It is known for ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories and fragrance, and for signature bags such as The Tote Bag and The Snapshot. LVMH held a majority stake from 1997 until WHP Global and G-III Apparel Group completed their acquisition of the brand in September 2026.
