Dior is a French luxury fashion house founded in Paris in 1946 by couturier Christian Dior and based at 30 Avenue Montaigne. It became known worldwide through the 'New Look' collection of 1947 and today covers haute couture, ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear, eyewear, jewelry and watches. Its fashion business, Christian Dior Couture, is part of the LVMH group.
