Levi's
Levi's is the signature denim brand of Levi Strauss & Co., a San Francisco-based clothing company founded in 1853 by Bavarian-born merchant Levi Strauss. In 1873 Strauss and the tailor Jacob Davis patented a way of reinforcing work trousers with metal rivets, a date the company treats as the birthday of the blue jean. The brand is known worldwide for its jeans, led by the 501, along with the Trucker Jacket and its red batwing logo.
