Primark is an Irish fast-fashion retailer that opened its first store on Mary Street in Dublin in 1969 under the name Penneys, which it still uses in Ireland. It sells low-priced clothing, footwear, accessories, beauty and homeware through stores across Europe and, since 2015, the United States. The company is headquartered in Dublin and is owned by Associated British Foods.
