Nike
Nike is an American sportswear company headquartered near Beaverton, Oregon, that designs and sells athletic footwear, apparel and equipment. It began in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports, founded by track coach Bill Bowerman and runner Phil Knight, which imported Japanese running shoes before developing its own designs under the Nike name. The brand is recognized by its Swoosh logo and by long-running lines such as Air Force 1, Air Max and Dunk.
